We’re constantly manoeuvring a changing world. Shifting social norms, evolving personal values, or new global challenges – these shifts demand adjustment. Recalibration allows us to realign ourselves, our communities, and the world, creating a more navigable future.
Finding My Way
Audrey Desmond (Social Media Manager)
It’s important to constantly check in with ourselves—to evaluate where we are—especially in today’s fast-paced, evolving world. Life situations and perspectives can change, requiring us to recalibrate and get back in touch with what truly matters most. When we clarify our highest values, we gain a compass for living in congruence with life’s complexities and making decisions that are true to who we are.
– The concept of values and their role in decision-making is inspired by the work of Dr. John Demartini.

Changing Times

As hands reach across the table for slices of suckling pig, cashew nuts, or pineapple tarts, conversations flow—bridging past, present, and future—among those I’m close to, yet somehow distant from.
Lunar New Year has always been a time to reconnect over food and drinks, aligning my life with others and theirs with mine. But this year feels different.
Everyone is getting older—the young growing up, the old growing frailer. New faces appear, while others are missing, their presence felt in quiet remembrance. The atmosphere has shifted—subtly, yet unmistakably.
My steps falter on once-familiar ground, urging me to rediscover my place in this evolving experience. Yet, in the midst of change, I hold on to each fleeting moment, treasuring it for what it is.
Drawing your own route
Ricky Sim (Artistic Director)
Lately, I’ve been thinking about recalibration—not just as a response to change, but as a quiet tension between staying true to myself and adapting to fit. In a world that moves fast, where does that leave the slower, more uncertain process of creative exploration? I catch myself wondering: Am I realigning in a way that’s honest, or am I simply reshaping myself to fit into spaces that weren’t made for me? But maybe recalibration isn’t just about adjusting—it can also be a form of resistance, a way of reclaiming direction on my own terms. The real question, I think, isn’t just how to navigate change, but what’s actually worth navigating in the first place.
Recalibrate
Coleen Lee (Company Manager)
2025 marks a year of recalibration, filled with opportunities to embrace change and draw valuable lessons from the past. It’s a time to realign priorities, make adjustments, and take proactive steps forward. This isn’t a one-time effort but a continuous, multi-step journey that involves countless small yet meaningful adjustments. Change doesn’t have to be monumental—it’s about making steady progress in the right direction.
