Issue #25 – Disruption

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Missed trains, sudden downpours, or that one email that reshuffles everything – these interruptions can feel like detours throwing us off course. But what if disruptions aren’t always roadblocks? Dive into this issue as we explore the unexpected shifts, how they can become surprising opportunities, and the hidden paths to adventure they can reveal.

The Silver Lining

Audrey Desmond (Social Media Manager)

I’ve faced my fair share of detours in life, from unexpected career changes to personal setbacks. At the time, they felt like failures, but looking back, I’m immensely grateful for these experiences. They’ve forced me to adapt, grow, and become the person I am today. Sometimes, the best things in life are the unexpected challenges that push us to our limits. Matthew Goh (Company Dancer)

Artificial Intelligence can generate quirky and weird content that sometimes disrupts conventional norms and stereotypes. Transforming Disruption

Ricky Sim (Artistic Director)

A major disagreement, a change in priorities, or even a life event can throw a relationship off balance. It’s never easy. But I’ve come to see that disruption, as painful as it is, often leads to growth. These moments force us to face what we’ve been avoiding—our insecurities, needs, or unresolved issues. I’ve found that disruption can spark deeper conversations and bring about real change. In the end, it often makes the connection more honest and meaningful.
