Assembly Show - BOUND*

*Non-AEP Programmes

BOUND is an interactive dance performance inspired by ‘Zero Point’; a lost ‘kampong’ game of the past. Back when people did not have access to ‘Pokemon GO’, simple functional rubber bands were creatively tied and transformed into long ropes of rubber bands. This innovation resulted in many of the local childhood physical activities.

Bouncing off the spirit of innovation and experimentation, BOUND uses these rubber bands to explore the theme of boundaries, how they can restrict, confine and also define the body and space. In this performance, students will be invited to experience a game of ‘Zero Point’, allowing them to walk down the memory lane, reliving the fun of such traditional games their parents once enjoyed.
